| This is an attempt at a comprehensive list of recordings going back to the early sixties. I think most of them are here, but if others turn up that have slipped through the memory net they'll be welcomed in. Record companies come and go and much of my early stuff has been passed along the line -repackaged and reassembled in the form of compilations. The company that took me on in the first place was Transatlantic, a London based independant. Beginning in the late sixties Transatlantic licensed tapes to Reprise, a subsidiary of Warner Brothers. Subsequent labels have been Flying Fish, Kicking Mule, Run River and Lost Lakes, a branch of Windham Hill. At present just about everything is controlled by two main companies -- Sanctuary in England and Shanachie in America. Sanctuary have been re-releasing all the old Transatlantic recordings and Shanachie have the more recent material and will hopefully accept whatever else I can come up with. |
